Tatkal booking for the rail tickets is the last hope for the passenger to get the confirmed ticket, but the queue at 8 am in the morning makes it a worse experience. There is some relief for the nocturnal people who hate getting up early in the morning to get the Tatkal ticket.
Railway authorities have changed the timings for the Tatkal ticket, which will now start at 10 am instead of 8 am and this will be implemented from 10th July 2012. Another important change that will be that authorized agents will not be allowed to book the tickets for the first two hours. Hopefully, this decision will help getting rid of the server issues and a passenger getting a hassle free booked ticket.
