Brett Lee retires from international Cricket

Brett Lee, the Australian pace bowler retires from every form of international cricket. 13 years before when express debut in test cricket, he bought about a revolution in pace bowling arena.


On Friday he made his official announcement, also on Twitter he said "It's official, I have retired from international cricket. Thanks for all your love and support. It's been an amazing 13 years,"


He chose Friday the 13th to quit international cricket as he has been playing since 13 long years. He told to channel Nine "I woke up this morning and knew I had to call it quits today. Friday the 13th, 13 years (since his Test debut), I thought it was pretty appropriate." 


He is happy with his decesion and enjoyed and enjoyed playing every minute of his career. He is looking forward to spend some time with his family and relax at home.


380 wickets in ODI cricket, just one short of the McGrath's Australian record of 381 wickets and also an impressive record of 310 wickets in Test cricket.
